Business Description
Northern 2 VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust . The Company invests mainly in unquoted venture capital holdings. The objective of the Company is to provide high long-term returns to shareholders through a combination of dividend yield and capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 274 of the Income Tax Act 2007. Investment management services are provided by NVM Private Equity Limited (NVM) at a fixed rate of 2.0% per annum of net assets, calculated half-yearly at 31 July and 31 January and payable quarterly in advance.
