Business Description
Promethean PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Company. The objective of the company is to achieve capital growth through acquiring control of businesses in the United Kingdom that traditional private equity investors and corporate acquirers may be unable or unwilling to access, and where the manager believes to be good opportunities for value enhancement. Investment management services is provided by Promethean Investments LLP for a fee equal to the expenses of the manager. It is anticipated that the new fund will pay to the managers an annual management fee or profit share, the industry standard being approximately 2% per annum of committed funds, and carried interests.
