Business Description
Laxey Investment Trust (The) PLC Formerly known as Tea Plantations Investment Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the period ended 30-Sep-2006.Investment management services are provided by Laxey Partners (UK) Ltd for a fee calculated at 1.0% per annum (exclusive of value added tax or any similar tax thereon) on the average monthly net asset value of the Company and are payable monthly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party by not less than six months' notice.
