Business Description
Artemis Aim VCT 2 PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long-term capital and income growth and to generate tax-free distributions through an investment policy focusing on the Alternative Investment Market and, to a lesser extent, companies traded on OFEX and unquoted companies. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been granted provisional approval by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 effective from launch.Investment management services are provided by Artemis Investment Management Ltd for a fee calculated at 0.4375% (exclusive of VAT) of the average market capitalisation of the Company payable quarterly in arrears. The agreement is terminable by either party giving one year's notice.
