Business Description
RCM Technology Trust Plc Formerly known as Finsbury Technology Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to invest principally in the equity securities of quoted technology companies on a worldwide basis with the aim of achieving long-term capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue & Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 30-Nov-2006.Investment management services are provided by RCM (UK) Ltd for a fee of 1.00% per annum of the value of the Company's assets calculated monthly after deduction of current liabilities, short term loans under one year and any funds within portfolio managed by RCM. The agreement is terminable on one year's notice.
