Business Description
Aberdeen Income And Growth VCT Plc. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long term capital a long term capital appreciation and generate maintainable levels of income for Shareholders. The Company is no longer an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenues and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 274 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 2007. Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 27.5% of the increase in the Net Asset Value of the Company over the period, before taking into account the effects of distributions and subject a minimum of 1.4% per annum of the Net Asset Value of the Company.
