Business Description
Talisman First Venture Capital Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve long term capital appreciation, principally through investment in smaller unlisted, PLUS traded and AIM quoted companies in The United Kingdom with strong growth potential. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988.Investment management services are provided by Aberdeen Asset Managers Ltd for a calculated annual fee of 96,500 payable quarterly in advance. The agreement is for an initial period of five years and, thereafter, terminable by either party giving not less than 12 months' notice in writing.
