Business Description
Octopus Eclipse VCT Plc Formerly known as Eclipse VCT PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of a Venture Capital Trust. The Company invests primarily in unquoted and AIM-quoted companies. The objective of the Company is to provide shareholders with an attractive income and capital return by investing its funds in a broad spread of qouted United Kingdom companies which meet the relevant criteria for venture capital trusts. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Section 842AA of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-May-2007.Investment management services are provided by Octopus Investments Ltd for a fee of 2.0% of the net asset value calculated at annual intervals payable quarterly in advance. The agreement is terminable at any time by either party by not less than twelve months' notice.
