Business Description
Acal plc. The Group's principal activity is selling and marketing electronic components. The Group provides specialised design-in, sales and marketing services for international suppliers in the fields of Electronic Components and Medical and Scientific products. It operates in three segments: Electronics, Supply Chain and Medical. Electronic segment distributes electronic products to industrial manufacturing and design companies. Supply chain segment, supplies new and refurbished IT, EPOS and ATM spare parts to service providers. Medical segment, supplies hi-tech medical equipment to public andprivate healthcare providers. On 19-Jan-2009, the Group acquired 75% of the issued share capital of Service Source Europe Limited.
