Ashtead Group PLC. The Group's principal activity is providing rental equipment to industrial and commercial users mainly in the non-residential construction sectors. The Group's operations are carried out through two divisions. Sunbelt provides equipment rental for the construction and industrial marketplace - from commercial, residential, municipal, and service industries to specialised market sectors such as telecommunications, special events, and emergency preparedness. A-Plant offers equipment rental from power tools, cement mixers and excavators to compressors, scissors lifts and accommodation units. The Group's customer base includes construction, industrial and homeowner customers, as well as government entities and specialist contractors.
