Business Description
INVESCO English and International Trust plc. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group is to achieve growth through investment mainly in the United Kingdom qouted smaller companies. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2008. Investment management services are provided by Invesco Asset Management Ltd for a fee calculated at the rate of 0.8% per annum by refence to the total gross assets of the Group less current liabilities a fee of 0.75% per annum and on cash (including STIC cash), a fee of 0.4% per annum will be charged at the end of each such period to calendar quarter date.
