Business Description
Northern Investors Company PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. It makes long-term equity and loan investments, mainly in unquoted companies. The objective of the Company is to provide high long-term returns to shareholders through a combination of dividend yield and capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company as defined by Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by NVM Private Equity Ltd for a fee payable quarterly in advance, calculated at the rate of 1.75% per annum of net assets. The agreement is terminable by either party on not less than twelve months' notice.
