Business Description
Porvair plc. The Group's principal activity is developing specialised filtration and environmental products. The Group specialises in metals filtration and micro filtration materials. Microfiltration provides customers filter products that can remove a range of contaminants including, bacteria such as cryptosporidium and yeast from their products and so make beverages and medicines safe to consume. Metals Filtration provides ceramic foam filters used in the filtration of cast house aluminium and is used in applications ranging from automotive parts to beverage cans and aerospace turbine blades. The Group's brand products are Biofil, Carbofil, Ceramic foam, Chemfil, Cryptofil, Flurofil, Foto-fil, Hycor, Hydrofil, Klearfill, Megga-Gaz, Metal Foam, Metpore and Microfil.
