Business Description
Hansa Trust PLC. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group is to achieve growth of shareholder value over the medium to long term. The Group is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the period ended 31-Mar-2007.Investment management services are provided by Hansa Capital Partners LLP for a calculated annual fee at the rate of 1% of the net assets of the Company, (after any borrowings) but after deducting the investment in Ocean Wilsons Holdings Ltd on which no fee payable. The agreement is terminable by either party giving to the other not less than 12 months' notice or such shorter period that is mutually acceptable.
