Business Description
Henderson Opportunities Trust PLC Formerly known as Henderson Strata Investments plc. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to achieve above average capital growth from investment in a portfolio of United Kingdom micro cap companies. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Oct-2006.Investment management services are provided by Henderson Global Investors Ltd for a fee calculated and paid quarterly in arrears at 0.85% per annum on the first 100 million of net chargeable assets and 0.5% per annum thereafter. The agreement is terminable by either party but in certain circumstances the Company will be required to pay compensation to the manager.
