Business Description
Henderson High Income Trust PLC. The Company's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Company is to invest in a prudently diversified selection of both well-known and smaller companies to provide a high income stream and prospects of capital growth. The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by the HR Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Dec-2007. Investment management services are provided by Henderson Global Investors Ltd for a fee calculated at 0.5% of the average value of assets under management on the last day of each of the two years preceding the calendar year in respect of which the calculation is made. The agreement may be terminated by either party but in certain events the Company may be required to pay compensation of an amount of up to one year's management fees.
