Business Description
Avid Holdings Plc. The Group's principal activity is the provision of child resistant and senior friendly packaging solutions for blister packed drugs. The Group's operation focuses on the pill protect products, a specially perforated paper, which covers the usual foil lidding on blister packs. This makes the surface harder to break, increasing the difficulty for children to access the medication whilst still being weak enough to allow access by senior citizens. It also operates an engineering business producing blister pack change tooling for the pharmaceutical industry, as well as offering some machining and assembly for the defence industry.
