The Company has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as a Venture Capital Trust for the purposes of Part 6 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988. Investment management services are provided by Rathbone Investment Management Ltd for a fee calculated at 1.8% of the Company's net assets per annum. Under the terms of the scheme of reconstruction, the annualfee has been reduced, for a period of two years from 16-Jan-2008, to 1.3% of the Company's net assets per annum.The agreement may be terminated by either party giving to the other not less than twelve months' notice in writing.
