Blue Ridge Real Estate Company. The Group's principal activity is to own and lease investment properties in Northeastern Pennsylvania. It owns 16,920 acres of land in Northeastern Pennsylvania, along with 13 acres in various other states. Of these land holdings, 4,971 acres are held for development. It owns a commercial property, one shopping center and three residential investment properties and the Jack Frost Mountain Ski Area. The Group also owns four retail stores, one of which is leased to Wal-Mart, two of which are leased to Walgreen Company, and one of which is leased to Jack in the Box. Income is derived from these lands through leases, selective timbering by others, condemnation, sales and other dispositions.
