Buckeye Partners, L.P.. The Group's principal activity are transporting, terminalling and storage of refined petroleum products for integrated oil companies, refined product marketing companies and end users of petroleum products. It operates in five segments: The Energy Services segment is a wholesale distributor of refined petroleum products in the northeastern United States. The Pipeline Operations segment receives refined petroleum products from refineries, connecting pipelines, and bulk and marine terminals and transports those products to other locations for a fee. The Terminalling and Storage segment provides bulk storage and terminal throughput services. The Natural Gas Storage segment provides natural gas storage services through a natural gas storage facility in northern California that is owned and operated by Lodi Gas. The Other Operations segment also includes Buckeye's ownership operation of an ammonia pipeline and its majority ownership of the Sabina Pipeline in Texas.
