Cagle's, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to produce, market and distribute a variety of fresh and frozen poultry products. The operations of the Group consist of breeding, hatching, and growing of chickens, feed milling, processing, further processing and marketing. It owns a hatchery located in Dalton, Georgia, at which eggs are incubated and hatched. It supplies its broiler chicks by producing hatching eggs from breeder flocks owned by the Group. These breeder flocks are maintained on 41 contract grower farms. Its products are sold to national and regional independent and chain supermarkets, food distributors, food processing companies, national fast-food chains and institutional users, such as restaurants, schools and distributors, by the Group's sales staff located in Georgia, Alabama, New York, Arizona and through brokers.
