Community Valley Bancorp. The Group's principal activity is to provide community banking services in California. In its capacity as a holding company of Butte Community Bank, it provides its services to individuals, businesses, agricultural lending, construction and real estate customers in Butte, Sutter and Placer counties. Deposit products for the retail banking market include checking, interest bearing transaction, savings, time certificates of deposit and retirement accounts. The principal retail services consist of home equity and consumer loans. The Group also offers agricultural lending and real estate financing (both construction and long term) from its Agricultural Credit Centers in Yuba City, Chico, and Red Bluff. Its Bank Card Center in Chico provides credit, debit and ATM card services and eight ATMs in remote locations. Other services include traveler's checks, bank-by-mail, night depository, automated payroll services and other customary banking services.
