The Prototypes of CIGS cells, produced in batches in the laboratory, have been used on a test basis by the United States Air Force Research Laboratory and Dutch Space B.V. The Group, through its subsidiary, DayStar Solar LLC, resells and installs solar electricity systems for residential customers in northern California.
