Gibraltar Industries, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to process, distribute residential and commercial building products and processed metal products for industrial applications. The Group operates in two segments: Building Products and Processed Metal Products. The Building Products segment offers ventilation products and accessories, mailboxes, roof edging, underlayment and flashing, soffit, drywall corner bead, Lumber, bath cabinets and other building materials. Processed Metal Products segment offers metal products, steel shaped to specific widths and hardened to certain tolerances and manufacture of non-ferrous metal powders. As of 31-Dec-2008, the Group operated 54 facilities in 27 states, Canada, England, Germany and Poland. The processed metal products segment operates four facilities in four states. The Building Products consist of Mailboxes, Ventilation products, Bar grating, Metal lath etc and Processed Metal Products consist of Cold-rolled strip steel.
