The Group, through its three wholly owned subsidiaries, operates in two industry segments: property and casualty insurance and life insurance. The property and casualty subsidiaries of the Company, National Security Fire and Casualty (NSFC), and Omega One Insurance Company (Omega), primarily write personal lines coverage including dwelling fire and windstorm, homeowners, mobile homeowners, and personal non-standard automobile lines of insurance in eleven states. Its life insurance subsidiary, National Security Insurance Company, offers a basic line of life and health and accident insurance products in six states. The Group is licensed to write insurance in Alabama , Louisiana, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Texas.
