Platina Energy Group Inc.. The Group's principal activity is engaging in oil and gas exploration and development. In addition, on 31-Mar-2008, the Group acquired certain rights to inline Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and jet pumps when it acquired from UTEK Corp complete ownership of its subsidiary, Enhanced Oil Recovery Technologies Inc. On 01-Jan-2008, it also acquired from Energas Resources Inc all of the outstanding shares of TGI Inc, whose assets include drilling permits and bonding relating to oil and gas properties. As of 31-Mar-2008, the Group owned natural gas and oil leasehold interests in approximately 8,600 gross acres, as wells as working interests in 73 gross wells. The Group is based in Dallas, Texas.
