Valero Energy Corporation. The Retail segment includes company-operated convenience stores, Canadian dealers and jobbers, truckstop facilities, cardlock facilities and home heating oil operations. As of 31- Jan-2009, the Group operated 16 refineries located in the United States, Canada, and Aruba that produce conventional gasolines, distillates, jet fuel, asphalt, petrochemicals, lubricants and other refined products. Its primary wholesale and retail brand names includes Valero(R), Diamond Shamrock(R), Shamrock(R), Ultramar(R), Beacon(R), Corner Store(R), and Stop N Go(R).
