Luxottica Group(LUXOTTICA). The Group's principal activities are to design, manufacture and distribute prescription frames and sunglasses in the mid and premium priced categories. The house brands include Ray-Ban, Revo, Luxottica and Sferoflex. The designer lines include Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, Genny, Salvatore Ferragamo, Anne Klein, Bulgari and Moschino. The Group's customers include retailers of mid and premium priced eyewear, such as independent opticians, optical and sunglass chains, optical superstores, sunglass specialty stores and duty-free shops. The Group's subsidiaries are located in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Brazil, Belgium, Sweden, Netherlands, Australia, Norway, Singapore, India and Argentina. In 2006, the Group acquired Shoppers Optical, one of the largest optical chains in Canada with 74 stores.
