Ocean Rig ASA. The Group's principal activity is to assemble, test and commission the semi-submersible deep water rigs used for oil and gas drilling operations. The Group operates two deepwater drilling rigs Leiv Eiriksson and Eirik Raude. During 2007, Leiv Eiriksson operated in Angola and Eirik Raude operated in Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. Both are designed to operate in ultra deep waters and harsh environments.The Group's customers are major oil companies.
