Gartmore Global Trust PLC. The Group's principal activity is that of an Investment Trust. The objective of the Group is to achieve long-term capital growth from a concentrated portfolio of international equities. The Group is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Group has been approved by the Inland Revenue as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-Jan-2008. Investment management services are provided by Gartmore Investment Ltd for a rate calculated monthly at 0.05% (0.6% per annum), plus value-added tax, on the value of the Group's total assets up to 200 million, and at a rate of 0.35% per annum thereafter. The agreement is terminable by either party at three months' notice.
