The Group has expertise in the areas of coatings, magnetorheological finishing, lenses, prisms, filters, windows, mirrors, glass engineering, and assemblies. It also designs and manufactures light measurement systems that provide repeatable research-grade measurements in the UV-VIS-NIR-IR wavelength ranges for research, academia, industry and the military. On 8-Oct-2008, it acquired General Optics from GSI Group.
