Severn Trent plc. The Group's principal activities are supplying water, and treating and disposing sewage. It also has integrated waste management businesses, providing collection, landfill and special waste services. The Group operates in two segments: Severn Trent Water and Severn Trent Services. Severn Trent Water segment, provides water and sewerage services to domestic and commercial customers in England and Wales. Severn Trent Services, provides services and products associated with water, waste water and contaminated land principally in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe. On 08-May-2009, the Group disposed off its meters business.
