The objective of the Group is to maximise shareholder value by investing in a portfolio of securities anywhere in the world. The Group is as an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 833 of the Companies Act 2006. The Group has been approved by the HM Revenue and Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 31-May-2008. Investment management services are provided by Ingot Capital Management Proprietary Ltd for an annual fee of 0.5% of gross assets less current liabilities (excluding borrowings) of the Company. The agreement is terminable by either party by not less than twelve month's notice.
