Amcore Financial, Inc.(AMCORE). The Group's principal activity is to provide personal banking, commercial banking and related financial services. The operations are divided into four business segments. Commercial banking services include lending, deposits, letters of credit and cash management services. Retail banking services to individuals include, demand, savings and time deposit accounts. The Investment segments provide its clients wealth management services, which include trust services, estate administration and financial planning. It also provides employee benefit plan administration and recordkeeping services. Mortgage Banking Segment provides a variety of mortgage lending products to meet the customers' needs. Financial services are provided to commercial, small business and governmental organizations. As on 31-Dec-2008, the Group operated 82 branches, of which 49 were owned and 33 were leased.
