Continental Airlines, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is engaging in the business of transporting passengers, cargo and mail. Its operations are carried out in two business segments namely, Mainline, which consists of flights to cities using jets with a capacity of greater than 100 seats; and Regional, which consists of flights with a capacity of 50 or fewer seats for jets or 79 or fewer seats for turboprops. Together with Continental Express and Continental Connection, the Group has more than 2,800 daily departures throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia, serving 120 domestic and 121 international destinations. With more than 42,000 employees, the Group has hubs serving New York, Houston, Cleveland and Guam, and together with Continental Express, carries approximately 67 million passengers per year.
