It operates in two business segments: Animal Identification segment focuses on developing, manufacturing and marketing of visual and electronic identification tags and implantable radio frequency identification microchips, primarily for identification, tracking and location of companion pets, horses, livestock, fish and wildlife worldwide and for animal bio-sensing applications, such as temperature reading for companion pet, equine and livestock applications. Emergency Identification segment focuses on developing and marketing global position systems and GPS-enabled products used for location tracking and message monitoring of pilots, aircraft, maritime vehicles and outdoor adventurers in remote locations. On 12-Nov-2008, the Group sold all of the the common stock that it owned in VeriChip Corporation. On 14-Jan-2008, it acquired Geissler Technologies Corporation.
