The Group also develop, operate, and market Marriott timeshare properties under four separate brand names. The Synthetic Fuel operation consists of the Group's minority interest in four coal-based synthetic fuel production facilities. At 28-Dec-2008, the Group operated or franchised 3,178 lodging properties worldwide, with 560,681 rooms. It also provides 2,482 furnished corporate housing rental units.
