Triangle Petroleum Corporation. The Group's principal activity is to acquire and explore oil and gas resource properties. The Group operates through its two wholly owned subsidiaries: Triangle USA Petroleum Corporation and Elmworth Energy Corporation. It is an exploration company focused on emerging shale gas opportunities in the Maritimes Basin of Eastern Canada. In the first half of fiscal 2009, it finished the first phase of its Windsor Block exploration program by testing two wells (1.14 net) that we drilled and completed in fiscal 2008. In the second half of fiscal 2009, it executed the second phase of its Windsor Block exploration program by drilling three exploration wells (1.71 net) and completing one of these wells (0.57 net). During fiscal 2009, the Group had two producing wells in the Alberta Deep Basin, Canada, and four producing wells in the Barnett Shale of Texas, United States of America.
