Walking Company Holdings, Inc (The) Formerly known as Big Dog Holdings, Inc.. The Group's principal activity is to develop, market and retail branded, lifestyle collection of unique, high-quality, popular-priced consumer products, including active wear, casual sportswear, accessories and gifts. It operates in two segments: Big Dog Sportswear and TWC Business. The Big Dog Sportswear segment includes 176 Big Dog retail stores corporate sales, and its catalog and internet business selling quality sportswear. TWC segment includes Walking Company stores located primarily in retail malls selling comfort footwear. The Group's products include graphic T-shirts, knit and woven shirts, fleece items, loungewear and boxer shorts. It also sells a line of non-apparel products, including plush animals, stationery and pet products, which feature Big Dog graphics and are developed to complement Group's apparel. As of December 31, 2007, it operated a total of 186 stores in 38 states.
