Brookfield Renewable Power Fund Formerly known as Great Lakes Hydro Income Fund. The Group's principal activities are to own, operate and manage a portfolio of power generating assets. The Group operates through its wholly owned trusts Great Lakes Power Trust, Powell River Energy Trust, GNE Trust and Mississagi Power Trust. They are one of the premier Canadian income funds with 1,021 megawatts (MW) of installed capacity and an average annual production of 3,912 gigawatt hours (GWh). The portfolio consists of 27 high quality hydroelectric generating stations located on nine rivers in four distinct geographic regions across North America: Quebec, Ontario, British Columbia and New England.
