Its principal business activities involve borrowing and lending, trade finance, remittances, treasury, investment banking, credit card and savings banking. It also offers real estate and stockbrokering through a network of over 800 local and international branches, offices and agencies. The Group has four business segments, Consumer Banking, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Treasury. Consumer Banking handles individual customers' deposits. Corporate Banking handles loans and other credit facilities and deposit and current accounts. Investment Banking arranges structured financing. Treasury provides money market, trading and treasury services, as well as the management of the Group's funding operations by use of treasury bills, government securities and placements and acceptances with other banks.
