Philippine National Bank. The Group's principal activity is providing a range of banking and other financial services to corporate, middle-market and retail customers, the National Government, Local Government Units (LGU) and government-owned and controlled corporations. The Group has four business segments, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Treasury and Others. Retail Banking handles individual customers' deposits, and provides consumer type loans, overdrafts, credit card facilities and fund transfer facilities. Corporate Banking handles loans and other credit facilities and deposit accounts for corporate and institutional customers. Treasury provides money market, trading and treasury services, as well as the management of the Group's funding operations by use of T-bills, government securities and placements and acceptances with other banks, through treasury and wholesale banking. Other comprises the operations and financial control groups.
