It operates on the basis of its own fiber-optic backbone network, which covers major Polish cities, as well as on the basis of local access networks. The Group develops its own universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) network in Poland and providing mobile services under the PLAY brand. It acquired KOM-NET Sp. z o.o, Lanet Sp. z o.o. and MAGMA Sp. z o.o. in 2007 and PUNKT Sp. z o.o. in 2008.
