The Company is an Investment Company within the meaning of Section 266 of the Companies Act 1985. The Company has been approved by HM Revenue & Customs as an Investment Trust for the purposes of Section 842 of the Income and Corporation Taxes Act 1988 for the year ended 28-Feb-2008. Investment management services are provided by BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Ltd for a calculated annual fee at the rate of 0.65% in respect of the first 50million of the Company's total assets less current liabilities, reducing to 0.05% thereafter. The agreement is terminable on six months' notice.
